The Widow Party is collaboratively written and performed melodrama, Wild West show, political thriller, pageant, and farce. With song, dance, projections, sound effects, and mimicry of preposterous acts, visions and revisions of characters, media, genres and events will change, interrupt, and harmonize with each other.
- You've already missed (or hopefully not) one weekend of shows. This is quite an amazing collections of writers, performers, and writers performing. A monologue from The Widow Party written by Joyelle McSweeney is set to appear in the forthcoming MAKE. If it's any indication of the whole, it's gonna be one hell of a show. Even if the two-headed calf can't make it.
